Teaching experience

2021 (January – May): University of Exeter (UK), part-time tutor in Russian interpreting.

2016 – present: University of Portsmouth (UK), part-time lecturer in Russian Translation, teaching English-Russian and Russian-English specialised translation (distance learning) for the Critical Approaches to Specialised Translation core unit and the Translation Project unit of the MA Translation Studies programme, and supervising MA Translation Studies dissertations.

2017 – February 2022: Teacher of English as a foreign language to Russian students  for Easy Language School.

2019: Teacher of Russian as a foreign language for Listen & Learn

2012 – present: Private tutoring in Russian and English, providing classes in Russian and English as a foreign language to individuals (beginner, intermediate and advanced levels).

2018: Devon Grapevine charity, Exeter (UK), volunteer English teaching assistant (ESOL).

2015 – 2016: Postgraduate teaching assistant at the College of Humanities,  the University of Exeter, providing essay writing support workshops for undergraduate students on a one-to-one basis for the writing mentoring scheme and sessions on Russian culture and literature. I also devised and delivered a short seminar on the role of fairy tale and fantasy genres in the early Soviet culture as part of my training for the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (LTHE) programme at the University of Exeter.
